Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge

The Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge offers a safe yet exhilarating experience with scenic views from the 300-foot-long bridge hovering 30’ above the ground. The only pedestrian bridge of its kind in Ontario the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge is part of The Great Trail (formally known as the Trans Canada Trail). An engineering marvel built with 55,000 pounds of steel; the bridge can hold up to 75,000 pounds in weight.

Located within Ferris Provincial Park along the Trent River in Campbellford the Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge is a great spring, summer and fall excursion. In winter months it can be accessed via the second access point adjacent to Locks 11/12.

Campbellford is a small Ontario town located midway between Toronto and Ottawa. The Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge can be found at 30 County Road 30, Campbellford ON.

Victoria Beach Cobourg
